Solicitors in Hanover County must have a permit to go door to door or location to location visiting residential premises for the purpose of selling or offering for sale any goods, wares, merchandise or services or accepting subscriptions or orders therefor. Fingerprints and a photo will be taken before a permit is issued. Fingerprinting services are offered by appointment only.
