Hanover, VA – On April 20, 2016, Hanover County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Robin L. Wood, Jr., 30, and Amber Beggs, 25, both of Richmond, for multiple offenses related to recent larcenies from vehicles. On April 19, 2016, the Sheriff’s Office responded to the Battlefield Green subdivision for multiple reports of larcenies from vehicles. Tools, electronics, money, and various other personal items were stolen from mostly unlocked vehicles.
Tips received from citizens led investigators to Wood and Beggs, who were attempting to sell the stolen property. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and investigators were able to recover multiple items that were stolen in these incidents. In total, 10 larceny incidents were solved.
Wood was charged with multiple counts of grand larceny, petit larceny, larceny of property with the intent to sell and conspiracy to commit larceny. Beggs was charged with grand larceny, larceny of property with the intent to sell, conspiracy to commit larceny and possession of controlled substances. Wood is currently being held at Pamunkey Regional Jail with no bond. Beggs has been released on a $1000 secured bond.
