UPDATE: On June 7, 2016, investigators charged Lawrence Church, Jr, 49, of Charlottesville, in connection to the burglary of the Glory Mart Exxon on Airpark Road.
Church was charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny. He is currently incarcerated at the Henrico County Jail.
“I am very thankful for the diligent work of our investigators as well as the assistance from our regional partners in bringing this case to a quick resolution. We will continue to work with the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in order to ensure a successful prosecution,” said Colonel David R. Hines, sheriff.

Hanover, VA – On Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at approximately 3:30 a.m., deputies responded to the 11200 block of Airpark Road for a commercial burglary alarm. Once on scene deputies found obvious signs of forced entry to the closed business. Video surveillance revealed the suspect entered the business and did steal merchandise.
The suspect is described as a white male with white facial hair and appears to have tattoos on his arms, wearing glasses and a camouflage hat, a light green short sleeve button down shirt, dark colored pants and flip flops.
