UPDATE - Hanover, VA – On August 22, 2018, at approximately 11:28 p.m., the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 7000 block of River Valley Road to check the welfare of an adult female who had allegedly made threats to harm herself. Upon arrival, units observed a female sitting on the front porch.
As uniformed Officers began approaching the residence, the female ran inside the home. A short time later multiple gunshots were heard coming from the second floor. After entering the residence, Officers found two deceased individuals with apparent gunshot wounds.
The male has been identified as Eric Digiacomo, 45, of Mechanicsville. The female has been identified as Robin Styles, 45, of Mechanicsville.
Investigators are evaluating all evidence in this case and no suspects are being sought at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
