Hanover, VA – On Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at approximately 8:52 p.m., deputies responded to a business located in the 16000 block of Mountain Road for a reported robbery.
The suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of currency. He was described as a black male, wearing a black ski mask, black leather jacket and black pants. He was last seen leaving the area in a dark colored older model Ford Explorer.
After a thorough investigation, our investigators were able to successfully identify a suspect. On Wednesday, October 31, 2018, investigators arrested a juvenile, 16, in connection to this incident. He was charged with robbery and use of a firearm during a felony. The juvenile is currently being held at a juvenile detention facility.
