Hanover, Va. – During the overnight hours on April 6, 2022, deputies responded to multiple larcenies from unlocked vehicles in the Pebble Creek and Battlefield Green subdivisions. Citizens provided deputies with images from a Ring camera of two possible suspects walking around vehicles in the neighborhood.
After a thorough investigation, and with the assistance of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office, the two suspects were positively identified and arrested.
Brandon Tyler Duff, 24, King & Queen County, and Christopher Michael Skelton, 18, Richmond County, have both been arrested and charged with Grand Larceny (F - x5) and Petit Larceny (M – x5).
After the execution of a search warrant of one of the offender’s vehicle, additional items were recovered that indicated the possibility of additional victims. If you are missing property from your vehicle during the timeframe of April 6 to the morning of April 7 and have not reported this incident, please contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.
