Hanover, Va. – On Monday, September 5, 2022, deputies responded to the 14500 block of West Patrick Henry Road (Route 54) for a single vehicle crash.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2016 Nissan Rogue, was traveling westbound on West Patrick Henry Road when the vehicle left the right shoulder of the roadway, struck a dirt culvert and collided with a tree.
The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver has been identified as a licensed juvenile.
Out of respect for the family and due to the driver’s age, the Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing the decedent’s name.
