Hanover, Va. – On December 16, 2022, deputies responded to the Buddhist Cambodian Temple located in the 8100 block of Windsor Drive for the report of three unknown suspects who attempted to gain entry into the temple. It is reported that three suspects came to the back door and pounded on it loudly. The suspects rattled the door handle and attempted to open the door.
There was a similar incident on October 16, 2022 at this temple where similarly dressed subjects did gain entry into the building. However, once inside they realized the building was occupied and quickly backed out.
In addition to a video surveillance clip, still images are attached of the suspects from the incident on December 19, 2022.

This appears to be a trend that is occurring throughout the region. Based on our investigation and other cases throughout the region, these individuals are unarmed and their motive appears to be larceny.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
