The South African Mastiff has been located and reunited with his owner. Adoons was sighted roaming the city streets when Richmond Animal Control Officers recovered him. He was found uninjured and in good health.

HANOVER, Va. – The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the reported theft of a South African Mastiff from the 18000 block of Teman Road in Beaverdam.
The Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance with locating the light brown South African Mastiff. The dog was taken during the day from a kennel behind the residence. The dog responds to the name “Adoons”. He weighs approximately 175 pounds and his back stands at 29” tall. He can be seen in the attached image.
