HCSO to host “Civilian Response to an Active Shooter” event
Hanover, Va. – On Thursday, September 30, 2021, the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office will once again host a presentation in the Hanover County Board Room, located within the Administrative Building, where we will discuss “Civilian Response to an Active Shooter.”
This presentation has been presented to thousands of individuals within our community and region. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, this is the first presentation in over a year. The information that will be provided will assist you in becoming better aware and prepared should an active shooter event occur wherever you are. Presenters will also focus on historical case studies and current best practices. This event is designed to provide important safety information to our community.
This presentation is for everyone and we hope you will join Sheriff Hines and his team on Thursday, September 30. The doors open at 6 p.m. for registration and the event will begin at 7 p.m. Seating is limited so please register to Ms. Kitami Newby by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 804-365-6324.
