Missing Adult Located Deceased

Update – On Saturday, November 20, 2021, while the HCSO sUAS (Drone) Team was conducting a search for Randale B. Rosemond, the body of an adult male was located deceased in a wooded area off of Shady Grove Road near Kelley Drive.

The deceased individual has since been identified as Randale B. Rosemond. There were no signs of foul play observed.

The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner who will determine the actual cause of death.

The investigation is still ongoing.

The Sheriff’s Office would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and our citizens for their assistance with the search.

HCSO Seeks Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Adult

Hanover, Va. – The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult.

Randale B. Rosemond, was reported missing on Wednesday, November 18, 2021. He was last seen in the downtown Mechanicsville area on Wednesday, November 17.

Mr. Rosemond was last seen wearing a tan cap, green and blue jacket and khaki pants.

Mr. Rosemond does have a medical condition.
