Hanover, Va. – On Sunday, May 8, 2022, at approximately 8:40 p.m., deputies responded to the 6300 block of Wedgewood Road for a reported domestic dispute.
 
Once on scene deputies located an adult male suffering from an apparent stab wound to the abdomen. Medical aid was immediately rendered and the adult male was subsequently transported by Hanover Fire-EMS to VCU Medical Center.
 
In connection to this incident, deputies have arrested and charged Lydia Dianne Ford, 66, of Mechanicsville, with Malicious Wounding (F) and Assault and Battery of a Family Member (M).
