Hanover, Va. – Yesterday, August 13, 2022, at approximately 1:24 p.m., deputies responded to 9414 Atlee Station Road, Atlee High School, in reference to a deceased male that was located near the football field by a citizen.

Once on scene deputies located an adult male, deceased, lying on the ground near the press box.

The male has been identified as Efeoghene Oluwatosin Obrimah, 18, of Mechanicsville.
Investigators continue to look into the circumstances surrounding Obrimah’s death and are working closely with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the actual cause of death.
