Suspect Arrested for Attempted Malicious Wounding
Hanover, Va. – On Sunday, September 25, 2022, deputies responded to the Lewistown Truck Stop for a reported shooting. Once on scene deputies spoke to an individual that alleged a black male fired two shots from a handgun at him in the parking lot after a disagreement inside the business.
There were no injuries that occurred as a result of this shooting. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
Nathan Russell Bullock, 42, of Ashland was quickly identified as a suspect and warrants were obtained for his arrest.
On Monday, September 26, 2022, Nathan Bullock turned himself in to investigators. Warrants for Attempted Malicious Wounding (F) and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony were served.
Bullock is currently incarcerated at Pamunkey Regional Jail. A booking photo is attached.
