Death Investigation
Hanover, Va. – On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at approximately 2:16 p.m., deputies responded to 8175 Pleasant Grove Road, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, reference a body that was located by a citizen.
Once on scene, deputies located an adult black female, deceased, lying on the back patio of the church.
The female has been identified as Andrea Thompson-Lambert, 56, of Richmond. Although there were no signs of foul play located at the scene, investigators are working diligently to determine the circumstances surrounding Thompson-Lambert’s death. Investigators are also working closely with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the actual cause of death.
