HCSO Seeks Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Juvenile

Hanover, Va. – The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile.  

Vasilica Joia, 15, was last seen at her residence in Mechanicsville on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

Vasilica has long black hair, brown eyes, is 5’4” tall and weighs approximately 143 pounds. She was last seen wearing a long grey vest, long skirt and tall black boots.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Vasilica Joia is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also download the “P3 Tips” app for their mobile devices to submit their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
